encoding_f1_best

This gene pool summarizes best f1-encoded individuals from a very large-scale experiment on comparison of genetic encodings, performed in 2001. Its results were published in the Artificial Life Journal 7:4. Three tasks were:
- maximize height without brain working (hp),
- with brain working (h),
- maximize speed (s).
Note that for the correct behavior of the creatures, the setup should be just like it was during optimization (so this is unlikely if you use modern versions of the simulator). Minimal differences may cause some creatures to behave differently, because they were extremely adapted to the experimental setup (e.g., distance from ground when revived = 0.1).
